Working conditions and environment can have a huge impact on the mental health and wellbeing of employees. Equally, someone's mental health can have a significant impact on their ability to perform well in their job.
According to the Health and Safety Executive the rate of work-related stress depression and anxiety has increased in recent years.
The Health Foundation draws attention to the evidence of a significant negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns on mental health and wellbeing. In the recent publication about key insights from people involved in recovery work around the world, the King’s Fund and the University of York research team pointed out that recovery from the pandemic will be long-term (about a 10-15 year timeframe), that progress will not be linear, and that successful recovery does not just happen – it requires conscious attention and action from leaders at all levels, which includes a focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Our Workplace Wellness Programme will help your organisation address the challenges of the post-pandemic recovery, improve productivity and reduce the cost of the employees’ poor mental health to your organisation.
